Each round of Oh Crud is like a different mini-game. There are six rounds of gameplay. The first five rounds are trick-taking rounds, with each round having a slightly different twist. Round 6 is more akin to Solitaire and is played very differently.

Crud is something different in each round. You don't want Crud because if you get it, you will receive points. Round 1 - Crud is taking any card of the Crud Suit, determined by rolling the Color die. Round 2 - Crud is taking any card of the Crud Number, determined by rolling the Number die. Round 3 - Crud is taking any card of the Crud Suit and/or the Crud Number, determined by rolling both dice. Round 4 - Crud is taking any trick. Round 5 - Crud is taking the last trick. Round 6 - Crud is NOT being the first player to play all of their cards.

Roll the dice to determine: What Crud Is (rounds 1, 2 & 3) or what the Power Suit is (round 4 & 5), or what number you start a pile with (round 6). The game is different every time you play!

The game includes an Oh Crud Card Deck, a Color Die, a Number Die, Quick Reference Cards, and an Instruction Booklet. If you want to play with 7 to 9 players, purchase two copies and use both decks. For a 2-player game, use 1 deck and remove 2 suits.
